The windows-based Teleprompter Program is designed for use in the Windows 95/98/SE/ME/NT/2000/XP environment and requires a Pentium 400Mhz or faster desktop or laptop IBM PC or compatible computer.
so you can refer to the instructions as you go along with the installation. You'll be creating a new folder, downloading the Teleprompter software file, unpacking the file into its component files, running the installation program, then running the Teleprompter program.
Once you have printed this page, click on the dancing M&M to download the Win 9X Demo:
(1) From your Windows Desktop, single click on START/PROGRAMS/WINDOWS EXPLORER. Click on you hard drive (C:) from within Windows Explorer.
(2) Select FILE/NEW/FOLDER from the Menu Bar. Type in Win9X as the new folder name. Minimize Windows Explorer.
(3) Click on the dancing M&M, above, to download the Demo version of the Windows 9x Teleprompter software package.
(4) Direct your Internet Browser to store the file into the new WIN9X folder on your hard drive (C:\Win9X). The filesize is less than 1Mbyte, so it might take a couple of minutes to download. When it's finished, minimize your Internet Browser.
(5) From your Desktop, select Windows Explorer again, single click on the Win9X folder, and double click on the newly downloaded file (Win9X.zip) to launch your unzipping program. Extract the zipped file into the C:\Win9X folder and double-click on Win9X.exe to unpack its compressed files and start the Install Wizard.
The Demonstration version of the program is, in fact, the full-featured program limited to scrolling the first 20 lines of any text file. Unlocking the program removes this restriction, and can be accomplished simply by registering the demo program with Stewart Instruments, Inc.. There is a fee for Registering the Demo (see Order Form).
Win9X is also available on CD. The CD version comes complete with disc, printed manual and three-ring binder.
